In 2003 I spent 5 weeks in Rio De Janeiro with Assocacao Beneficente Amar.
Association Amar is placed in Grajau, a district in the city of Rio De Janeiro.
It developes 12 social/educational and professional training projects with the objective of recovery and formation of citizenship. Amar helps “meninos de rua” and people who live into “favelas” or “morro/morrinho”.
I don’t want to talk about my experience that it was one of the best experience I’ve ever done, but I want to publish and dedicate the video of the Morrinho Project to my colleague Daniela because she has done the same experience this summer and when she is came back she bring back all my memories.
“The Morrinho Project” is a large brick model of a favela and in this post, you can find more info and links.
